The Décastar is an international combined events meeting that welcomes the world’s best athletes to the Pierre Paul Bernard stadium in Talence.

For almost 50 years, the greatest names in combined events have helped write the history of our meeting.

With feats of all kinds, Olympic and World Championship comebacks and record-breaking performances, the Décastar has become a must for athletes and, according to many, remains their favorite event for the warmth and welcome it receives from the public.

ADEM (Association pour le Développement des Épreuves Combinées et du Meeting de Talence) is the organizer of the Talence Décastar, a 1901 association made up mainly of volunteers. It plays an important role in the transmission of sporting values in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

In addition to flying the colors of Décastar, ADEM has a second essential mission. It offers top-level training to young regional athletes, thanks to its unique “ADEM ACADEMY” concept.

Through this structure, ADEM contributes to the development and promotion of Combined Events among young people in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
