Olympic, World and European champion, the 24-year-old queen of heptathlon will launch her season by participating here in Talence for the first time in her career.
As she considered she won’t be fit enough after she injured her left calf during a training course in January in Stellenbosch (South Africa) she will miss out on the Götzis (Austria) meeting end of Mai.
Nafissatou Thiam will share the lead with Kevin Mayer, who renews his presence at the Decastar meeting for this 2019 edition!
World champion in title and Olympic Vice Champion, for Kevin it is not his first participation in Talençe, in 2018 he set the new world record of 9126 points in an exceptional decathlon.
