Our travel – athletes, spectators, volunteers and organization – generates a significant amount of greenhouse gases, contributing to climate change.

Our travel—by athletes, spectators, volunteers, and event staff—generates a significant amount of greenhouse gases, thereby contributing to climate change.

In 2025, according to a survey conducted by the Green Team, spectator travel alone—across all modes of transportation—totaled 418,000 km, which is roughly 10.5 times the circumference of the Earth.

To help us reduce these emissions, we encourage you to travel to the stadium and, of course, whenever possible, to prioritize sustainable transportation options such as:

walking,
cycling (you will find specific bike signage as you approach the stadium, as well as bike parking areas),
public transportation and park-and-ride facilities (special TBM rate)
carpooling (for groups of 3 or more people).
An encouraging figure: the carpooling rate is steadily increasing, rising from 35% in 2022 to 39.1% in 2025.

So, will we exceed 40% by 2026 ?
